Getting started

Installation

Install an HTML form with a POST action and a public form key.

Prepare the published form

  1. Create a form with the field names your page will submit.
  2. Configure recipients and any origin restrictions or spam controls.
  3. Publish the configuration; an unpublished draft does not change the live intake contract.

Copy the HTML

Replace YOUR_ACCESS_KEY with the form's public key. Every submitted name must match the published schema. The public key identifies intake and does not expose stored messages or workspace settings.

HTML
<form action="https://littlereply.com/api/submit" method="POST" data-littlereply="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY" data-locale="en" data-success="Your message has been received.">
  <input type="hidden" name="_fq_key" value="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY" />
  <input type="text" name="botcheck" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off" style="display:none" aria-hidden="true" />

  <label for="contact-name">Full name *</label>
  <input type="text" name="name" id="contact-name" required />

  <label for="contact-email">Email address *</label>
  <input type="email" name="email" id="contact-email" required />

  <label for="contact-message">Message *</label>
  <textarea name="message" id="contact-message" required rows="5"></textarea>

  <button type="submit">Send message</button>
  <p role="status" aria-live="polite"></p>
</form>
<!-- Accessible AJAX errors and duplicate-safe retries -->
<script src="https://littlereply.com/client/v1.js" data-api="https://littlereply.com" defer></script>

Verify the complete path

Test through a local web server or a deployed allowed origin rather than file://. Confirm required fields, the HTTP response, and the stored submission.

A successful intake response does not prove final email delivery. Inspect recipient and provider history before retrying a visitor's request.
